The Little Light House

The Little Light House provides tuition-free educational and therapeutic services to children with special needs ages birth to six as well as support for their families. They service approximately 64 students with 40 staff members and many volunteers. The Little Light House does not charge tuition and receives money only from private sources, such as foundations and grants. On several occasions my family has had the opportunity to visit The Little Light House, along with our dear friends Lisa Bain, her bulldog Mavis Pearl, and the Joy in the Cause crew; to read with and deliver books and plush toys to each of the students attending The Little Light House.

How Usborne Books & More can help: Through our Literacy For a Lifetime (LFL), 50% grant matching program, we can offer an additional 50% in books with donations of $200 or more. Your donations can sponsor books for us to deliver on one of our visits with these very special children. I will even put a donor bookplate inside of each book with your family or business name.
